Digital Papers, past activities, and a SALE!

I need to find a balance of goofing around on the computer and actually getting something else done around here...does anyone else have this same problem?? I love it though...I learn something new everyday and I'm still trying to figure stuff out...any pointers on creating papers or anything of the like?

Last week was busy with Award's day, new progress report/report cards, parent conferences, etc. etc. etc.

But I did manage to snap a few pictures.
This is a picture from my Tommy Turkey Song activity. The turkeys are in the picture to help the students know when to clap!

My little friend is locating words that she knows.
You can find this activity by clicking on the picture below.

This activity is from Mrs. Miner's Monkey Business. We used this in small group math to put the tens frames in order and my assistant worked with her small group on the sentence building puzzle. The students really enjoyed this activity.

This is a song we sang to practice our 3D shapes. I pinned it from another pinner and it can be found on YouTube. Of course it's HarryKindergarten.

Now in honor of all you wonderful followers out there who I am very Thankful for...I'm having a Thanksgiving sale at my TPT store. It starts tonight and ends Wednesday. Head on over and pick up some goodies for Thanksgiving next year as well as some other items!!

Here is another set of digital papers that I created. You can grab this set for FREE by clicking on the picture.

Stuffed with Thankful Thoughts and a freebie

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only a week away. Whew---is anyone else overwhelmed??? I feel like we just had Halloween and how am I supposed to cram all the awesome stuff I have now for Thanksgiving into like 4 days???

Ugh. Oh well. I'm linking up with Lyndsey over at A Year of Many Firsts for my thankful thoughts---wow I have so much to be thankful for.

image

1. My Savior---without Him, I'd be nowhere, with Him--all things are possible.

2. My awesome hubby!! We've been through some awesome, crazy, horrible, and words can not describe stuff in the past 10 years we've been together. It's amazing what God can do in a marriage and I couldn't ask for a better hubby or best friend!

3. My crazy dog....we lost our first fur baby last year so it was hard to get another one. But we love him...even though he can drive me N.U.T.S!

4. My friends (who rock!) and my family (who rock too!).
5. A great job teaching a grade level that I love.
6. And doing this blogging thing---what an amazing way to "meet" so many awesome people.
7. My church and my church family---it's like a home away from home.

I'm so thankful for so many things that I can not begin to express all of them on here. And of course I'm thankful to all of my followers. So here's a little freebie for you. I've just learned how to make a document editable (so I hope this works!!).

Wow---a winner's week!!!

First of all---I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the veteran's out there, those who have served, are currently serving, and those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. I have a lot of friends who are military and many family members who have served or who are overseas right now. Thank you again!!

Ok---wow it's been a week of winnings! First of all--I won Kristin's giveaway over at A Teeny Tiny Teacher (who by the way--if you have not read her blog--is absolutely hilarious!!!) I won her math anchor charts---I'm so excited to be able to use them with my small math groups. It comes with black and white copies as well as colored, and I'm thinking I'll use the colored posters above my small group table. I really think these will help my low level students gain a better understanding of number concepts.

So that was earlier this week---then I woke up this morning and checked my email..and I had won again!!  I had entered Kathleen's Thanksgiving Giveaway over at Growing Kinders. Boy--am I won lucky girl--I won a ton of Thanksgiving packs from some amazing ladies.

Here's a few things that I won:

Awesome huh!!?? Check out Kathleen's blog post about this giveaway so that you can snag these items and MORE from their TPT stores!!!

I'll be back tomorrow for a freebie and I should will be finished with my November Fun Pack so you can check that out!!

Turkey Time!

Just a quick post---I've uploaded a couple of things to TPT about turkeys. I'm still working on my November Fun pack (it's formatted like the Pumpkin and Owl Fun Pack--if you downloaded that be looking for the November one by this weekend hopefully!)

Here is what I uploaded:

Five Little Turkey Book-----It's about 5 little turkeys who are strutting about on the farm when one notices something weird and the others realize they smell pie and they need to run and hide. It also comes with picture cards so that students can retell the story.
Click on the picture to check it out.

The other activity I uploaded is a song about Tommy the Turkey (to the tune of "Bingo").
It comes with the song, a student copy of the song, word cards for the pocket chart, and writing paper so that students can write about Tommy. Click on the picture to check it out!

November Currently

I have been a terrible blogger this week. I have a grad school presentation tomorrow night and for whatever reason it's kicked my butt. I think it's because I'm T.I.R.E.D and this has not been on my list of *faves* to work on. Ah, it's finished (finally--my computer went kapooeee last night and I didn't hit save for the power point part) so I had to work on it today.

Speaking of power points---any helpful hints on how to keep a document editable but still keep the clip art/graphics safe from being copied b/c of TOU???? I'm still new to a lot of this--so any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance...

Now--November Currently---how I love these!! Farley always has some awesome stuff on her blog...check it out if you haven't already! Here is my currently---

Yes the Panthers are playing---are they winning..no clue I'm in the other room...but I hope they finally pull one out today!!
And I love scarves, leggings, and boots and all things Fall---especially since it's finally feeling like Fall around here.
Does anyone else need more time in the day???? I seem to never have enough--and when I do, I don't want to do what I "need" to do.....hmmm

and I HEART Jack Hartmann's music for the classroom--especially his Transition Train CD --great instrumental music for our writing time and of course the Penguin Dance. (Oops--just realized I left an N off of his name on the currently...sorry Jack!)

Hope you hop over to Farley's page for the other currently's!! Don't forget to follow her rules!
