And honestly, I can't say why I haven't blogged in so long...I have plenty to tell you, to show you, to give to you....I just haven't. And it's been kind of nice. To not have the stress of feeling like I need to post daily or weekly. Does anyone else feel like sometimes you are letting your followers down? Like you are supposed to post ALL the time....it's hard. I LOVE it..but it's hard. Sometimes I sit down and I get ready to create/post....and my mind goes blank. LOL...there's so much going on in there I have on idea why it goes blank but it does.
Don't get me wrong....but it's nice to take a break. I've definitely been following you guys...and been crazy Instagramming (is that a word?)
If you don't follow me on Instagram. (there's a link on the right side of the blog)...head over there and click that little button at the top. I'm posting a LOT on there...as well as my FB account.
I'm going to try to definitely do better this year....maybe not every week...but at least a couple times of month. I want to blog more and celebrate milestones (yeh totally missed the 1500 mark on my FB page---maybe I'll plan something for you this month! :)
It's been nice this month to just chill too..I haven't felt the very best this month....If you've been following for a long time...you may remember that I have mentioned that I have endometriosis....and this month has been kind of rough. It comes and goes. But December has rocked my world. Ugh.
So I just remember....
Here's a very QUICK recap of what we did in December....again...I posted a lot over at my Instagram account.
Of course we did Elf on the Shelf...Charlie is his name and "elf"ing is his game. Here's a pic of what we walked in to see one morning!
The best picture was when he was "roasting" marshmallows by our classroom fireplace. And of course this girl forgot that picture! Why do you ask....because Santa showed up that day!
LOL...I hate to laugh at my kiddos because it's definitely ok to be scared of something. But this little girl completely took my assistant and I by surprise. She was NOT the ONE we thought would freak. But freak out she did. He walked in and she took off running taking Ms. E with her! LOL all the way to the back of the room.
Eventually she did give him a high-five (after yelling out that she wanted a Barbie) and we all clapped and cheered for her! What a a day....and yes that's my assistant in her PJ's....because Santa showed up on Polar Express Day!! :)
We also made some very cute elves and reindeer!
So much more was going on and I just didn't document everything! But I promise more to come in the next few months. (Plus I have an intern starting her first semester with me in January---one day a week for now...in the Fall....every day). Any advice????
I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and this pretty much sums up how I feel after eating all of those goodies!
hehe..makes me snicker....or wait...do I want a snickers?? LOL
Oh..I totally forgot...be sure to check back this week. I've joined in with Sweet Sounds of Kindergarten for something amazing this week......I can't tell you until the 31st!!!! Check back in then!
Hope you enjoy the last final days of 2014 and that 2015 will be all you ever wanted and dreamed about! :)
Thanks again for being amazing followers and sticking by me......even if it has been two months!
Hope you are enjoying your break. Nice to see you back! I sometimes feel like I don't really have anything "good" to share which puts me in a blogging rut. I'm glad your little one came around to at least high-5 Santa.

A Very Curious Class
I don't know how any bloggers with children and full time teaching positions do it...more power to you all! Maybe someday I will start a blog, but with active kids it is hard.
ReplyDeleteAlso I just finished with my 5th student teacher!! It was wonderful! They haven't all been, but my last was my best. Some of it may be that I decided it best to be honest in both the good and bad in the most non-critical/judgemental way possible. I also think that this fantastic young woman just honestly loves kids and teaching so that helps as well!
