November Currently

I have been a terrible blogger this week. I have a grad school presentation tomorrow night and for whatever reason it's kicked my butt. I think it's because I'm T.I.R.E.D and this has not been on my list of *faves* to work on. Ah, it's finished (finally--my computer went kapooeee last night and I didn't hit save for the power point part) so I had to work on it today.

Speaking of power points---any helpful hints on how to keep a document editable but still keep the clip art/graphics safe from being copied b/c of TOU???? I'm still new to a lot of this--so any suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance...

Now--November Currently---how I love these!! Farley always has some awesome stuff on her blog...check it out if you haven't already! Here is my currently---

Yes the Panthers are playing---are they winning..no clue I'm in the other room...but I hope they finally pull one out today!!
And I love scarves, leggings, and boots and all things Fall---especially since it's finally feeling like Fall around here.
Does anyone else need more time in the day???? I seem to never have enough--and when I do, I don't want to do what I "need" to do.....hmmm

and I HEART Jack Hartmann's music for the classroom--especially his Transition Train CD --great instrumental music for our writing time and of course the Penguin Dance. (Oops--just realized I left an N off of his name on the currently...sorry Jack!)

Hope you hop over to Farley's page for the other currently's!! Don't forget to follow her rules!

  1. Hi! I am loving the fall scarves, too. My daughter currently has a boot obsession; I told her to wait for my next paycheck!

I am glad to have found you and am your newest follower! National Board Certification is a goal of mine...any advice?

    1. Hey, thanks for following. As far as your National Board Certification advice...be ready for it! LOL and even if you think you are--you're not! No seriously...do it...I'm not going to lie--it was hard...time consuming..overwhelming..but worth every minute of it. I feel as if I grew as a teacher during the process. Be prepared for tears, carpel tunnel (LOL) and a fear of not passing..but again..it's soo worth it!! I'm glad I did and I'll definitely renew when the time comes.
You'll do great---and if you have any questions--just ask!! :)

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Yes, I am in NC. 20 minutes down the road from Wake Forest.
Grad school and teaching. I remember those days & miss them. If someone would pay me to go back, I would get another masters.
